We are looking for a talented Security transfer specialist for a 12 months temporary mission as part of our Operations team based in Geneva.
Main Responsibilities
Be in charge of the deliveries free of payment: incoming/outgoing/internal for all kind of security, shares, bonds, mutual funds, hedge funds…
Issue faxes and send to the counterparty
Send instructions to our custodians/depositaries through swift MT540/ MT542/MT599 or faxes
Follow up the status of the swift instructions or fax instructions and act in order to have the transfer settled on time and update the core banking system.
Open accounts with the transfer agent when necessary
Be in contact with different departments such as Security Master, Investment fund, tax team, compliance team, reconciliation team… for the transfer purpose
Reconcile our cash positions linked to tax or fees issued from trades and align securities position.
Skills and Experience
Min 2 years in a similar role within the financial or asset management industry.,
Good knowledge of Stock markets, Hedge Funds, Mutual Funds, etc.
Strong team player and able to deliver in very high periods of activity.
Excellent organisational skills.
Ideally, he/she have been exposed to the following systems : Temenos – GTmatch– GTExchange (formely stelink)or swift, Easyway, Vestima, SIX SIS and/or XACT.
Fluent in French and very good English level in writing and speaking.
