Description:
The Africa Health Research Institute (AHRI) is seeking a highly motivated Biomedical Intern to join AHRI's Clinical Laboratory department based at AHRI-Durban campus. The Biomedical Intern will be responsible for assisting in a broad range of biorepository activities at the AHRI Durban Laboratory needed to manage the life cycle of biological specimens. Duties include receiving, processing, distribution, retrieval and storage of biospecimens. Additional duties include biospecimen inventory management, preparation of specimen kits, maintenance of study specific documentation and quality control checks of physical and electronic laboratory records, forms and documents.Overview of Duties:
